PINGwrx and Matrix shaft question

Can PingWRX get/install Matrix shafts?

Just curious-
I'm thinking about getting an open-faced Ping G10 driver with a Matrix XCON Altus shaft from their custom dept, but their .pdf doesn't list Matrix as a shaft they install...does anyone know if they can track one down anyway, and if so, how much is the upcharge?

Your local dealer can answer all questions. WRX usually offers shafts not listed on website.

PINGwrx can get whatever shaft they want, but they are only authorized to install certain shafts for tour orders, for high profiled VIPs or for testing.

Not sure if you can get a Matrix shaft installed by the Wrx department but be prepared to wait for any shaft not on their Wrx list.

 

I tried to order a Diamana 73 gram x5ct shaft from them and after 4 1/2 weeks, still no shaft. They said they were having issues with their supplier. I would think a company as big as Ping would've had a contingency plan but I guess not. So, I cancelled the order and nobody at Ping seemed to care. That was very surprising based on my past experiences with them.

 

Anyway, you may be better off getting someone else to install your Matrix shaft.

In addition to what has already been said, they will NOT "bend" open a head and they claim every head is identical (to spec +/-). They will pick one that "looks" open, however.
