Spent the year getting my bag out of the late 90's. As you can see, couldn't do it with the irons. :fool:

Driver: Taylor Made 07 Burner TP Tour Issue 8.5* Fuji Vista Tour X (This has been a MONSTER for me)
3-Wood: Taylor Made R7 TP 15* GD YS-8.1 X
Hybrid: Sonartec MD 19* Rifle 6.0
Irons: Titleist 962 3-4 and Titleist 962B 5-PW Rifle 6.0 (2* up, +3/4)
Wedges: Cleveland 588 DSG RTG Rifle 5.5 (2* up, +3/4)
Putter: Oddysey Tri Hot #2

i love the 962's and 962b's...wish i never sold mine. one of the all time best imo. i remember i bought mine in 1996 (unstamped, brand new) after seeing David Duval shoot a 59 with them. i ran to Pro Golf in Clearwater and bought the only set they had. I used those babies for years too. fantastic irons.

962's were the first irons I ever owned...loved 'em!!!

 

And that 3-wood is nuclear....i have the same one.

Updated for 2009:

 

Made some off season aquisitions in the iron department. Got these R7TP heads from a Wrx'er and shafted them with PX 6.5s. Only hit them in the net, but they feel great, can't wait. Driver is the same, going to try the old spoon again, now shafted with a Fuji Vista Tour X, and a Raylor 19 that is soon to have a Rifle 6.5 once I get around to it. Putter is my old trusty stainless Anser 2 that I have had for years with a gob of lead in the cavity and the good ole GP Classic Midsize grip. Wedges remain the same.

 

The 962B's are back in the closet, but will never leave! I miss them already! I also got an Adams Pro DF2400X 8.5 with a PM702 that I got on a whim during the GG re-price-o-rama that I am looking forward to putting against the Burner.

Ok so I had to tinker just a bit more...... After the first couple rounds of the year I made some changes and additions.

 

Found a great deal on an Ozik XCon-6 X from a fellow WRX'er...put it in my 07 Burner TP. Originally installed it at 46", was a bit wild with it so brought it down to 45" and now I'm hitting nice "salty" :tongue: bombs.

 

The Tour Issue V-Steel spoon is another pickup from a WRX'er, I dropped a 6.5 Rifle in it and I am absolutely hitting the best 3 wood shots of my life. Great from the fairway and the tee.

 

Wasn't getting good results with the Raylor, so I picked up a Sonartec HB-001 19* and again dropped a Rifle 6.5 in it. Best hybrid I've ever hit, bar none. Better than the MD, a bit less offset and great feel, flight, and sound. I don't see this going anywhere right now.

 

Found a smoking deal on a SS Newport Beach recently, had to tinker with it a bit, but it's definitely the gamer for the time being, I love the feel with the sound slot.

I have not, for the last 4 years been able to find an iron that i like more

 

I do plan to try the X-forged, S-57, and AP2's though

The 962's will never go far, they are sitting in my office and mark my words I will NEVER get rid of them. They served me well in HS back 10 years ago! The R7's have proved themselves as worthy replacements, what a great iron. But I still love the 962B as much today as I did back when Duval shot that 59! However my game is not nearly as good as it was then, so a little more forgiveness was in order.
