Cleveland TA7 Tours

Folks I'm going through some swing changes through the winter and struggling a bit with my Idea Pros...thinking of picking up a set of TA7 tours as an interim as they can be had for under $200. My thinking was that I wanted a cheap set of irons with not much offset but a fair bit more forgiveness than the Idea Pros... I remember trying them a few years back and being very impressed. What are peoples' thoughts ? How will they compare to the Idea Pros ?

I switched to the TA7 Tours for similar reasons. I previously played TA3's, but because of grad school I just don't have the time to play/practice as much as I did 8 years ago. I have never played the Idea Pros, but I would assume they fall in the same genre (player's CB's).

 

The TA7 tours are nice clubs, the top line is not over the top, fairly narrow sole, and not to much offset. With that said, they are not a forged club, so the feel that you are used to with the Idea Pros may not be there. But, If you are just looking for something to keep the game fun while you are going through some swing changes, I think they are a good option.
