Ping M/B Wedges vs. Ping Tour

Does anybody have any experience hitting both of these wedges? I know the Tour model just won a 4 wedge competition in GOLF mag (silly only 4 wedges were there & not some of the top ones). I was wondering which was more forgiving on full shots. Also what is the bounce of the M/B? I know it's mid bounce but would like to know exactly what. Thanks for any feedback

hi there:i haven't hit both but they do look nice.the reason why they only tested four brands is because these are some of the newer ones out now.hope this helps

Not to threadjack, but I saw on the ping website that there are a lot of grind options for the tour wedges. Does anyone know what the upcharge is for special grinds? Are these grinds available to the public? Do you just order them through an authorized ping reseller?

I used M/B's for 2 years, but have demoed the Tours extensively.

 

The TOUR's are better wedges overall - the sole is more flexible, they're more solid feeling, and have a much better overall flexibility to them than the M/B's. For whatever reason - I think the Tours are easier to control distance as well.

 

The M/B's are not shabby, and I loved them for quite a while - but the sole design and metal composition (feel) of the Tours is superior IMO.
