That's hard to say. They have been number 1 for a long time. I personally think that there are too many balls out there to choose from. While that is great for ball ho's like me, I believe that people get frustrated with too many to choose from and go to their old stand by which is probably a TITLEIST. PLus, they spend a lot of money to be number one and I don't know if everyone else is up to the challenge. My two cents anyway.

I think they will remain #1 even though they have been getting some pressure recently from Srixon with the Z-STAR. Titleist is still the top choice on the tours and with the weekend golfer you will have a large percentage still playing Titleist balls simply due to the name recognition and tradition/habits. Titleist has developed a great reputation for being top quality golf balls which will keep them on top for a long time.

 

Personally, I prefer Srixon or Bridgestone, simply because they are better for me.
