Confused about which ball I should be playing *Big hitters come in!**

So I've been advised by a number of golf pros that I should be hitting a distance ball. Currently I game a B330 and Srixon Z-URC. My driver swing speed is 116-118 so it fits that criteria. However, my driving can get erratic at times and I don't think the extra spin from these balls helps.

 

Is it worth it for me to give up some distance off the tee and use a softer ball that will keep my drives in the fairway?

Your shaft is why you driving is all over the place. You should break that REAX soon if you swing hard and practice enough. The B330 is the best ball period for anybody swinging 115+. That shaft cries UNCLE if you swing over 105 and are not super smooth. Get fit and see what they say.

116-118 and you play regular in your 3-wood and irons? Yes, I know SS is not the end-all be-all for flex, but on the face of it, that's nuts!
