Srixon Online Ball Fitting System

I received this in my email I tried it and I think that it is more comprehensive than other online ball fitting systems. I know most golfers pretty much know what they will play, but I think this is better than most.

^^^^^Not surprised, most golf ball brands that have a online ball selector are going to recommend their ball for your game. I have yet to find a web site with a galf ball selector that was unbias towards any brand and give a true result. On a side note has anyone taken the Bridgestone Challange and had them say that the ball your using is better for you than one of the Bridgestone golf balls?

You can take the results and compare it to other brands. For instance. Zstar is Callaway i,prov1.

Never used it... it costs $20 or $30 depending on the plan you choose. But it at least (on the surface) seems to not be biased towards a particular brand.

Anyone ever try it?

I would try the different brand selectors, then just get a few sleeves of each recommended ball and try them. That's all the selector should be doing for you anyway- making a suggestion. I can't believe you would be able to use an on-line selector accurately, unless you were putting in dozens of launch monitor data points, manually.

Thanks for the support sidewinder. At first I was glad to see the Srix guys getting on board with a fitting, I play the Zstar as my gamer, but the tool asked what ball I was currently playing - my recreational ball is the ZIP, so I try to see what they'd recommend - but they didn't offer the ZIP option under the wilson brand - I was offended at first but then I thought wait! It's because the ZIP has no equal.

Bridgestone says the only convert 7 out of every 10. They let you compare whatever ball you normally play versus their golf balls. I have taken the challenge and I was very impressed. And yes i have switched and have never been happier with a golf ball.
