My second pair of Ecco's

After purchasing my first pair of Ecco Flexor's about a year ago, I decided that I would pick up a second pair. There are numerous reviews on here speaking of how good ECCO's are, blah, blah, blah. Before ECCO, I played Footjoy's, Nike, Adidas, etc. and nothing compared to my Flexor's. Out of the box, I felt I could walk 18 holes without a worry. I decided to go with a different style and looked at the Saddle GTX's and the Casual's. In the end, I thought the Casual II's for $120 shipped was a pretty good deal, so I went for it.

Well, I just got back from the course after walking 9 holes with my new all white Casual II's. I took them out of the box, put them on, drove to the course, and walked 9 holes. Never a rub, fit snug, but not at all tight from the minute I put them on. I have a narrow foot and the Casual's are slightly narrower than the Flexor's. They shoes look better on my foot than the Flexor's and don't make my foot look huge when wearing shorts like other shoes (keep in mind, I wear a 46). In comparison to my Flexor's, they are a lighter, hence, they feel a little more tennis shoe like. Difficult to describe, but they are extremely comfortable and they do seem to keep your foot a little cooler (it was 100+ this evening). Another thing, even the shoe laces seem high quality. I will now keep my Flexor's for the muddy rainy days and my Casual II's for the nice days.

Well, there are tons of post on ECCO's, they are the best, they are so comfortable, I own 10 pairs, and so on. The fact is, everyone is correct, and I wish I had 10 pairs.

If you haven't tried them, be patient, look around, check Fleebay, you can get a superb quality golf shoe that fits out of the box, that will last you years for less than $100. Try any style, they are all comfortable. After I got my Flexor's, my Dad bought a pair. He got the Saddle GTX's, and he is hooked. They may not be cut for everyone's foot, some still prefer the 360's, their Nike's, hey, that's cool. If your not sure, give ECCO a try.

I saw one at local golf store (white w/ beige) and loved it but price tag wasn't the deal

Where did you get these for $120 shipped? I have the white/tan Casual Cool Premiers and love them. I was thinking of getting a second pair and love these all white ones. They are $190 everywhere else including Zappos.

Ebay. Once I figured out my size, the last four pair I've purchased have been on Ebay. The most I paid for any pair was $105 for a pair of the World Class that had a retail of like $450.

I never saw the all white Casual Cool II's on e-bay. I ended up getting them at globalgolf. Good service, free shipping, no tax, can't complain. The first pair I got on E-bay.

AHHHH, another ECCO convert. I'm sorry yeah, I'm one of those who always posts the "best shoe ever", "I have ten pair" actually only 4 for me. But as you said the best thing about them is the out of the box comfort. Also for me the waterproofing, as I play a lot of early morning rounds with very wet grass.

Funny story, I played last night after work. So I went from dress clothes (eccos dress shoes) to my shorts and golf shoes. I get home still wearng my golf shoes, as I didn't want to look like a complete dork with dress shoes and shorts on. When I walked in SWMBO looked at my golf shoes and said, "Did you get ANOTHER pair of Eccos" I just laughed and said no these were about two years old. She said she couldn't keep track, I had so many.

My wife also likes the styling of th ECCO's better than other brands. They don't have the flashy swoosh, check, 3 stripes, but if your not materialistic and looking for the best quality shoe, ECCO's are for you.

The older models are always on sale for $100.

Just note, the sizing chart was off for me. I wear US size 11. On the ecco sizing chart, a US 11 is EUR 45. But the 45's were way too big. Turns out, the 43 were perfect. Try them on before buying.
