Ping Rapture V2 fairway vs. G15 fairway

Looking to consolidate my 3 and 5 woods into a 4. Thinking about one of these two Pings. Has anyone had the chance to hit both?

I have hit the G10 and did not care for it, mostly because of the shaft... hit the V2 and found it to be a big impovement.... hit the G15 and i like it better than any Ping frwy wood they have come out with...it is a great club! bob

I have the V2 4w and its great with a lovely sound at impact. I use it mainly off the Tee as a driver alternative. It is meant to be more forgiving than the G15 although I have not hit the latter

I've always thought the V2 fairway woods were very draw biased. That was in the 3, 4, 5 woods that I tried. I would always return to a G10 fairway in their place. A few months ago I got a strong V2 3 wood from the tour and it wasn't nearly as draw biased. I used it but still kept the G10 5 wood in the bag since no such thing as a strong V2 tour 5 wood existed..

Now that the i15 is out I am using that as it is slightly fade biased if anything. Presently I've replaced the V2 fairway and G10 fairway with two i15 fairways (which are easily the stars of the whole i15 lineup especially the 5 wood).. The G15s I tried just didn't perform as well as the i15s did for me.

I really wanted to love the v2 fw but I found it only useful off the tee. I hit my driver pretty well and often so I didn't anticipate getting much use out of it. I tried the G15 & i15 recently and really liked them both. Think I would lean towards the G15 seeing as I prefer a 4 wood and it is more forgiving and definitely easier to get airborne.

Speaking for us slow swingers. Driver 75 to 80. The rapture 4 wood is a pleasure to use. I have only hit it off the deck so far. It is just stupid easy for me to hit very stright and long. Would have to say it is the best fairway wood I have ever had.

Already had the G15 and took back and got the i15 and love it

Any more thhoughts on this issue would be appreciated. I am getting a 4 wood next week and both seem the same on the launch monitor.

Tried both Rapture V2 and G10 4 wood before I settled with G10. Rapture V2 is suppose to get the ball up in the air easier because of the tungsten plate in the sole (lower CG). Demoed both outside at the range and on the course. At the end, the ball flights are similar, at least to me, so I went and bought the G10 since it is cheaper. Occasionally got a 20+ yards big high draw but overall baby-to-small draw and I am very pleased.

If LM shows similar to same numbers, then I would say it can't go wrong by going either one.
