Why didn't you buy this putter?

A lot of you like Scotty Cameron especially vintage models etc. What about the American Classic III Flange?

 

Did you consider this one, if not, Why?

 

A few have reviewed it but not many. I was wondering why? :golfer:

I was a gnat's butt away from buying one, but I just couldn't give up the anser style blade. The AC3 is a great putter though.

Is the anser style blade of the Cameron the reason many of you stick to only certain SC models?

 

It seems the quality of the Classic Flange is there, the specs look the same as the studio series.

 

Do you think you would not putt as well with the classic flange?

i was very close to that putter. it came down to a new ac3 or a tei3. i was very impressed with both putters. the plummers neck on the newport realy suites my eye. the feel was relatively the same but i found the ac3 a bit softer. the only thing that held me back on the ac3 was the alignment. i had a hard time personaly with the sight dot and line, i perfer two sightlines on the blade and 1 on the flange so i chose the tei3

Best putter ive ever felt imo, but i dont have money to buy the one in my proshop for like 120 brand new i think.

The bullseye with a flange is a decent putter to putt with. I had alignment issues with them so I never used one for more than a couple rounds.
