Guys. Thanks for the replies. My camera is at college so I will have to wait till then. I will try and find some old pics of my bags.. My handicap has never realy been figured out but from somtime around Sept, I started shooting in the med 80s to low 90s. I have been playing golf for 4 years in the spring.

Boys, I don't get to head out east often. I stay in Central/western Kansas... That is a good list though. Just to add a little. Tallgrass is a great course in Wichita. Lesser known courses. Mariah Hills in Dodge. Smoky Hills in Hays. Park Hills (Know the owner of the course so probably some free golf.) Stoneridge.

In Wichita, check out Crestview country club. They hold the Wichita Open (Nationwide) there every year. It's a pretty nice course. Cottonwood Hills in Buhler (near Hutchinson) is another good course with plenty of blind tee shots. It's fun.

Nice bag funky. How do you like the wedges. I've been tempted to try out the vokey's but I can't imagine liking them better then my ping tours. I guess eventually I'll wear them out and have to try something else.

BTW, nice tease with the fairway wood. I'm curious now.

I like them a lot. But to be honest. I am thinking of moving to mizuno mpt-10 wedges. I hit the 58° a few days ago and it felt pretty good. Brand new grooves are fun. haha. I have heard a few good reviews about the tour-ws but have not been able to hit them. I think I like the thinner sole on the Mizuno and the grooves are sick!

Its a janky looking setup but thats how it goes when I work on my clubs. I will try and take a few cell phone pics later.

Bags:

Here are my bags. The staff bag is a show piece and I have used it a few times. I just bought myself the hoofer vantage for christmas. (Took picture from seller since I haven't unwrapped it yet.. The sunday bag is my bag I take to the range. Great for practice.

Im not a PING guy but I am a Ping player haha. That didn't make too much sense.

When I hit a wood great I am happy. Let alone in December. Its just a great all around club. I look forward to playing it when it warms up and I can enjoy golf.

I am actually trying to get rid of a few putters haha. Ping makes great everything. This is my first stand bag. I bought it used for $70. Can't wait to go walk in the summer with it. It felt great when I took it out of the box to check for damage. I am sure the bag and I will be good friends on the course.

Mariah Hills is a great track, tough always, but really tough when the wind is up. #4 at 423 yds from the blues and 457 from the tips plays straight into the prevailing south wind. Makes it a LONG hole. Last year Dodge City was the second windiest town in the US.... Buffalo Dunes in Garden City is another awesome course. There are several 9 hole tracks in SW KS that are good too. Hugoton, Elkhart, Satanta, & Syracuse just to name a few.

I love Mariah. Except that one sloped green. When a big south wind comes your ball is off the green. I know a lot of good 9 hole courses in Kansas if anybody is interested. I played 3 year of HS golf so I played at a few courses haha.

Cool bag, very functional. I'm jealous of that original steelhead +4....those woods are so easy to hit. I had a 3 wood back in the day (let my wife take a cut with it and she caved the toe/top in with a serious pop-up) and I can't ever remember a club that was so easy to just "step up and hit it".

I know what you mean. This feels really great in my hands. This bag isn't as pretty and shiny as everybody else's but it gets the job done.

Funkyferdora, your bag is pretty solid it doesn't need to be the shiniest or most expensive bag if it works for you then thats a job well done now get out and get em.

Speaking about 4 woods, I plan to get fit this summer at a Ping demo day for a G15 4wood. The wedges are iffy right now. I like my Ping wedges but the Mizuno MP-T10 Wedges felt great when I hit them. So I guess my bag isn't as solid as I thought it would be...

What was you doing with your byron??? and yes mizuno MP-T10 wedges are great, every bag has room for improvement but being a member on this site doesn't help that trust me. Thanks Golfwrx for delaying me getting my first car. haha jokes i love it.

I sent it to be regripped. The MP-T10 will definitely be in contention in the spring. I know Golfwrx and Puttertalk have both cost me a lot of money.
