what's everyone think of them

Was at a local proshop today ordering my a new G5 driver and while i was waiting, i got to see these for the first time in person. I think they are a very sharp looking wedge and could see myself getting them as i have been quite the wedge ho the last few years. I am not super thrilled about the chrome finish, if they release a black pearl or satin finish i will definately try them. Just wondering what everyone else thinks of them, especially those who have logged some plaing time with them. Thanks.

I am also curious about these new Cleveland 588 DSG chrome wedges. I've played golf for 16 years and have only used the Cleveland TA 588 chrome wedges, I've tried to switch a few times but always came back to them, the DSG 588s might finally kick them out of the bag if they're an improvement with the same head weight and feel.

They seem ok, i just dont like the chrome finish. I personally like the CG 10's more then them but the rac black tp's are still tops imo.

I got to hit them at a local demo day and thought they were very nice. With the special sole grind, I had no problem opening up a 56 degree and hitting high lob shots with relative ease Keep in mind, I'm a 14 handicap that generally has stone hands around the green, so this really impressed me. I echo the comments about the chrome finish ... didn't especially like it. I talked to rep that day who indicated thantanother finish or two (maybe a black nickel) would likely be coming in late summer/early fall.

Another wedge I'd seriously consider is the SMT Durometer wedge. I don't think there's another wedge out there that comes close to spinning as much as this one. Again, given my handicap, I was not much of a wedge spinner; however, I currently have the 50 54, and 58 degree Durometers in my bag and I don't envision them coming out of my bag for a long time. One hop on the green and they check up almost immediately. They're that good and they're very reasonably priced ($39.00 each for the heads).
