cleveland staffers irons

hi all:can someone please give me a break down of witch iron model each cleveland staffer is using?also what's the difference in feel and playability between clevelands cmm and formed forged materials?i know the cleveland site lists what their staffers use,but it's not updated that often.thanks ;)

Actually most staffers are in fact playing some form of the CG line of irons.

Kent Jones - CG1 micro mill chrome

Rod Pampling - CG2 raw (at one point CG1 satin)

Steve Lowery- CG1 satin

Craig Perks - CG1 chrome

David Toms - CG2 and CG4 depends on when your talking about and what iron #

Brett Wetterich - TA1

Richard S. Johnson - CG1 and CG2 combo

 

Steve LeBrun of the nationwide I saw recently and he had a set of CG4 Tours.

Gary Koch is playing CG2/CG1 combos, Rick Karbowski is playing TA2's, Walter Hall is playing CG2's, & Jason Enloe is playing CG4 Tours, but this was in March & April when I practice & played with these guys at the TPC in Tampa, they could have made a switch. I know Rick had CG2's Cleveland wanted him to put in the bag.

You guys really need to put a retail black pearl CG-1 picture next to VJs "STAMPED ONLY CG-1s". They are TA-1s made from 8620 carbon steel (not 8260) and stamped CG-1. Totally different muscle shape, totally different color from black pearl (think gun metal), even different location of CG-1 stamp from the actual CG-1s, and no hint of a CG stamp on the muscle. Get yourself some pictures and lay them side by side----very obvious. Plus that was information from an insider who built one of the VJ CG-1s. The other set is in Qass's bag. In this case if the "old this is tour only special material for sale equipment site" could get a hold of one of these sets they really would have something different than what is sold at retail (material, process, finish, design, stamping).
