mp60/mp32 inquiry...

anyone playing a combo set of mp60's and mp32's, 2-5 and 6-pw respectively? i'm thinking about exchanging the 6-pw for 32's, the 60's just seem to have a little too much offset in these clubs. wondering if anyone out there has done this and what ya'll thought. also wondered how you matched the swing weights so you had a constant feel throughout the set with both models? thanks a bunch...

I'm playing 4-5 MP60's and 6-PW MP32's. I don't really notice much difference at all between my 5 and 6 iron aside from a slight difference in the top line. The added offset in the 60's doesn't really stand out to me. Mine are shafted with 6.5 TFR's and I don't see a weight difference either between the two heads.

in the shorter irons 8.9.pw is where i notice the offset more, but as far as i can tell the specs are the same on the 60's and 32's so you'd think the weight would be similar... anyone else have a set up like this, would like to get as much info/opinion as i can. thanks folks...

I have been meaning to comment on this because I looked at the specs of both clubs at the mizuno site and on the 8-pw range, the offset difference is 0.016 inches on the 8 iron and a mere 0.004 inches on the 9 and PW. That translates into 0.04 cm or 0.4mm on the 8 iron and a whopping 0.1 mm on the 9 and PW. I guess some guys out there have eagle eyes to notice this difference. Personally I can't tell. Even on the 3 iron where the difference is greatest, the difference is only 0.86 mm. I can't tell the difference from 6 feet away. I guess others have keener perception.
