From the face on pic, the F3-05 looks a tad bigger than the 906F, can you confim that John?

The F3-05 is larger overall, not by alot, but it is bigger. You really get a good idea in the picture of them stacked on top of each other.

Thanks JHR!!! I can see you have gotten some use out of the F3-05. I like the appearance of it better than the 906. Almost has that old glass-bead blasted finish of the PT. Too bad the F3 won't be out....I'd seriously think about one of them.

I did get to hit it a couple times, the F3-05 is an amazing fairway club, the 15* is driver long , like i stated before, it has the length of a 970 with the feel and ease of a 904. I am very impressed with the F3 and hope the 906 is just as good.

 

The F3 was so- so until Joe put the Pro 95 in it, then it became one of the best i have. My first impression of the F3 was that it was like a PT on Steroids.

do you guys think (or maybe there's someone out there who knows) that the F3-05 is the predecessor to the 906F3 (i.e. a little shallower than the F2 front to back and a little deeper face?). when titleist first put up the tiny equipment pictures for their players, they listed a 906F2 AND a 906F3 - now it's just changed to 906F protoype. are there plans to have two 906F versions? would love to have a little lower spinning 904...

 

edit: by the way, i should say these are pretty cool comparisons and reviews - one gets pretty spoiled looking at all of these protos on the wrx...

What is the difference between your F3-05 and my F2-05? Anyone know. From the pictures they look the same.
