Remember Sonartec isn't going to be the easiest to hit on the market. They have a higher center of gravity and will tend to launch a little lower than other fairway woods on the market.

 

Here's a brief run down:

 

SS 02, 2.5 - shallow face, high spin, high launch fairway wood. Easy to elevate off the deck, yet still very capable off the tee. Great club for low spin players.

 

SS 07 - only available through clubmakers, face depth between the 2.5 and 3.5. Great off the club and off the deck. If you can still find one, it's an awesome club.

 

SS 03, 3.5 deep face, low spin, low launch. Not the easiest club to hit off the deck, but a great option for high swing speed, high spin players who don't struggle with elevating the ball. An absolute cannon off the tee.

 

That's basically it, hope that helps a little. Sonartec's a GREAT company and they've got just about every golfer covered with their lineup.

if u're looking for easy to hit i'd look elsewhere. np-99 has a higher trajectory than the 3.5 but not by much. very penetrating flight. it is a mid/deep face in between the two models. if u dont specificly want a low trajectory i'd go for the 2.5 or look to another company. even the 2.5 launches much much lower than almost all other brands.

I've got a 14 degree NP-99, and pretty much agree with six's description. Sadly, I can't compare it to the other fairway's in Sonartec's lineup, but think this might be the best fit for me anyway.

 

I was a little worried when I first saw it as I thought I would get too much launch with the shallower face, but as six said, it has a very penetrating trajectory. This makes it perfect off of the deck from longer distances (still working with it, but about 235 in the air, with another 15 roll. I'm not quite comfortable enough yet with the face depth to tee up with it regularly but it seems to play neutral enough (and mine sits dead square) to make it great for longer dogleg 4's.

 

It's not the easiest 3 wood to hit, but it's far from demanding. Let's say "harder" than my mizzy mp-001, but easier than the older Steelhead Plus or III's (I was coming off a tour Steelhead Plus). Sound is solid, and looks are super-keen (very classic at address). The only club that sits more solidly in my bag is my Md 19.
