I would be interested to see the new blades, as I am quite impressed with their current ones.

I heard back in March to expect the new blades in the summer time. Well.... it's June and nothing yet. The price on the blades have gone down quite a bit so expect something new soon.

i've heard late summer to fall (august to october) release.

 

i've heard there a couple of models coming out; replacement for the blades and replacement for the pro combos. i've heard there will be a players cavity back. to this date, i haven't seen anything. nike is pretty good about keeping there stuff under wraps, but you would think you would have seen something by now on tour.

 

it will be interesting see what they come out with.

does anybody know what will be different between the new nike blades and the old ones? I think the coolest irons ever would be Nike Blades with a high muscle position, like Tigers. the head would be black, like some sort of gunmetal and a white swoosh. those would be so sweet. I'd buy 'em in an instant!

i've quit looking at nikeproto's signature because all it does is make me jealous and then i end up crying.

 

although, i did notice that the sq max tour isn't in the bag anymore.

 

nikeproto, if you need a home to keep that sq max tour, you know a happy place where it will be taken care of, i would be more than happy to volunteer.

Truthfully, you are probably not going to see them. Certainly NOT from him. Come on guys, you are asking him REPEATEDLY to be fired from his job. (Which is what would happen if he released pictures of proto-type or future release products.) If he CAN say it, he will, if he can drop pics...he will. But seeing people ask repeatedly is driving ME crazy.

 

I have a few questions, and can't wait to hear more. Those MOI Blades, are fairly comon knowledge. I would imagine that the entire Nike line up could be moving toward 'MOI' like designs. What those are, I don't have any idea. But they did it with the SQ, they did it with the Blades (to be released?), and the Slingshots have some MOI aspects built into them already.

 

My BIG questions is what does "MOI PCC" stand for. - Pro Combo Cavity? :yahoo:

 

And we KNOW the DFI driver heads are out there.....it is a matter of IF we are going to see it retail.

 

All I can say is KEEP you eyes out for the guys on tour. Sabattini changes irons A LOT!!! Cink, Peterson, the lower tier guys are likely to sneak them in the bag. Maybe even some of the ladies. Wie?

I am still looking for a Forged NDS Irons set. Those NDS irons are STILL Nike's best kept secret! When they go on clearance, I may buy TWO sets of them! Though the Pro Combo OS looks mighty nice too!

If the DFI comes out, will it be replacing the SQ in the line-up or will it be sold alongside it. A carbon crowned SQ would make sense to me. It seems to be the only way to take the CG farther back and deeper.

With the two tone crown already, the asthetics would not be all that different either.

 

The only issue would be playability. Is there such thing as TOO far bac and TOO low?
