Building a LD driver

So I think I'm going to try and build a LD driver but I have no idea where to start. This is why I came here, I know there are a lot of different combos out there and some of it can just be based on personal preference, but I figured the people in this forum could help me out tremendously. First here's some info about my swing.

I haven't gotten my swing speed measured in a while, but If I had to guess it would be somewhere around 115 mph. My tempo is pretty smooth and my ball flight is about mid trajectory. I can get it out there a good distance but I don't know what my carry numbers are. Probably around 280-290ish. Right now I play an Adams a4 9015d 10.5 with a Protopype 60-X. I can go at the ball really hard when I want to and still maintain my balance.

Now here is the hard part. I have NO idea where to begin with this. If some people could recommend me some LD heads and shafts that would be great. As for mainstream brands I've heard good things about Adams and Cobra but I've also heard they were expensive. I don't know much about the other brands like Krank and Alpha but I've heard some good things about those as well. I'm not looking to spend more than $350.00 but I'd still like to build a good budget driver that can hit some bombs. I have remax qualifying in 2 weeks but I wasn't going to build the driver until after that. Thanks.

better hurry if your qualifier is 2 weeks away!
definetly want to drop to a lower loft and if your swing speed is around where you mentioned it is...
want to go with a softer shaft -maybe 1X if you have a smooth tempo- BUT-one that will keep spin down
personally-I prefer the Alpha's with HOF shafts

I'll look at the alphas. Any particular model? I was also looking at the Geek Dot Com This with a HOF whup n shaft. When I try to hit the ball longer my downswing is usually really aggressive with a slow take a way. Should i try X or XX?

Alpha C830.2 plasma is only head Alpha makes for ld use
Geek DCT is also good
you want to hit the weakest shaft you can control-to stiff and you lose distance
smoother your tempo/swing-weaker you can go
if you are aggressive-you'll have to go with a stiffer shaft
few different good heads available for LD-preference is up to the individual
