any examples of hogan doing this?

 

and how best to actually do it, by just rotaing the body, without feeling like a stack and tilt?

Tilt, forget the stack. Reverse-k setup per slicefixer. See Encyclopedia Texarkana. Impact-fix setup/address per John Schlee in Maximum Golf. See also Tom Bertrand's Secret of Hogan's Swing and his blog. And I suggest you keep the weight on the left in BS. When you reach the top, just turn towards the target. If weight not on left foot at top, you cannot turn, you have to use your arms/hands, hence OTT, which equals out to in at impact. Your swing must be flat so that your arms are already low at top of bs, hence you can turn immediately. And you must roll/rotate the left hand/arm/clubface, otherwise your clubface will be closed that will cause pulls, and your swing will be upright, which will necessitate you to lower your arms forst before turning towrds target. I think these are why Hogan's swing is flat, he rolls the clubface immediately, and puts weight on left foot right before reaching top of BS--so tha he can turn immediately upon reaching top of bs.
