Most annoying commercials

I have to say, based on watching the first round of the Byron Nelson this afternoon, the tournament sponsor's Bibigo ads are even more annoying than the plethora of prescription drug ads. What ads force you to change the channel or hit the mute button?

The best commercial is the J.G. Wentworth opera singers.  Because of it, I can’t forget that they give you cash for your annuity or structured payments, and their number is 877 CASH NOW.

 

It may be annoying, but man is it good.

Not on a televised/streamed broadcast but I’m a little perplexed why pandora pipes in ads in spanish when the channel I’m listening to only has english lyrics.  
 

Kudos to all those multilingual listeners out there but I only understood “Jared” or “Gillette” and it really doesn’t endear me to buy your product

I pulled some stuff from the reddit API right before they disabled public access and the most common mention on r/CommercialsIHate was Lexus. They've gotten better, but they used to have some of the biggest misses when it came to making people comment on, mention, or think about their vehicles any time other than when they were upset, hah. Said as a happy Lexus owner.  

 

JG Wentworth's sets were hilarious and had great production value, have to agree. 

 

Glad I've never seen the dude wipes bits. On top of being way more expensive than other wipes they are brands that are the worst for clogging sewer systems last I saw.

I've had my fill of the Volunteers of America ad that airs during the LPGA tournaments.

 

However, the worst is the bent carrot ad for Xiaflex to treat Peyronie disease. Not only is it bad, it's way, way too long.

I knew the commercials were getting overplayed when golf channel was on and the rebelysus commercial comes on and my 12 yr old daughter puts her iPad down and sings the whole commercial…”a little pill with a big story to tell”. It was one of those did that just happen moments or did I imagine it?😑😑

Skid marks 💩 (Dude Wipes), “front fumes” 🤢 (Lume) and diarrhea (you know who you are Pepto Bismol!) are close to the top of the list of things I don’t wanna think about while enjoying some TV 😊

The pharmaceutical companies marketing products with odd sounding names,  showing people having a wonderful day at a farmer's market or outdoor cafe.  Then, they show the possible side effects such as seizures, temporary blindness, heart attack, death . . .

The Winn grip commercial with the Winn grip toilet seat is quite off putting. Who thought it was a good idea to associate one’s grips with droppin’ a deuce?!

I wouldn't say that all commercials suck. Heck, there have been several Superbowls where some of the commercials were better than the game. 

 

Every once in a while I run across "Greatest Commercials" compilations, and they're pretty entertaining. European commercials tend to be more edgy.
