Recent Golfwrx Changes

Many Exciting Changes.

Hello, Dear Golfwrx Members

In the past week we have done many changes to Golfwrx Inc. Forums to improve your experience and make it easier for you to use our forums. The following are the new changes, we hope you enjoy them and if you have any questions use our helpdesk system (Will be live within the next day or so) and we will get on the issue right away.

1. Chat Server Upgraded - We have upgraded our chat software so that it can serve you better with more features, security and etc. We hope you enjoy the new software.
2. Please remember to send a Personal Message to "gxgolfer" if you want your name changed or email [email protected].
3. Our helpdesk is having a re-vamp, we will have much faster support in the future to answer your needs and have implemented a system where there is 1 on 1 help with our Golfwrx Techicans to improve your experience and get the problem fixed fast. In doing this all old helpdesk topics have been put in an archive and are all readable and searchable if need-be.
4. In the future we will be having an FAQ system where questions that are often asked will be stored and should reduce the number of support requests.
5. We will also in the future be offering Video Tutorials in the FAQ section so that you can watch videos and learn how to work all the great features of Golfwrx.com
6. We have also worked on our Skinning System, there is now an addational skin for users that want the forum to resize to there forum size and not to be restricted by our Static skin, you can change your skin in your member bar on top of the forum and soon on the bottom of the forum. This should in the futre reduce the number of users having problems viewing our forums. In this we have taken offline our old Golfwrx skin, that is out-dated and problemful. We think that everyone by now likes the new skin and shouldn't miss the old one.
7. Another final thing is that the Website News forum and comments and suggestions is another forum, only Site Admins (Rule Officals) can post news. After posting they will be locked, all suggestions and comments about the forum will be contained in another forum. This is a step toward keeping the forum organized and professional.
8. The sites speed in the past couple days have been serveraly increased and improved due to server tweaking and upgrades to the server. We hope this serves you better in the future.

Are there no "fly out " menus like there were before or do you have to scroll to the top every time to change forum categories?

This is from 2006. The menu will be replacd on Sat or Sun as Numerous messages have indicated that the upgrade is far from complete.
