Anyone heard of Magique?

I played in a scramble and they handed out a coupon for a Magique M3 Ibrid for free. ;) (and $29.95 for shipping, handling and fitting) :drinks:

Available in 17,21 or 25 degree. Website has them listed for $125.

I don't know the cost for shaft upgrades, but thought about trying one since it was so cheap.

Anyone have thoughts or some insight? Is this just a cheap knock off?

I have seen these at a local course where a teaching pro had them. I didn't pay alot of attention to them but he had told me he knew one of the guys that started the company and that they were a new and just getting started. Although I'm not 100% certain, but I don't think they are knock offs. I was pleasantly surprised that he is actually playing their hybrids. I can find out more info in a week when I talk to him again if you want me to. For that deal it reminds me of a cheap company a few years ago that was doing a similar thing, but for that price I might be inclined to give it a try.

That would be great if you could find out more.

Their website says they are celebrating 20 years of business, so I guess that isnt bad. They are out of Arizona.

If anyone else has any info, please let me know. The certificate code was the same on all the papers so I could share that with everyone after I order mine :drinks:

they are out of mesa or chandler.. Kathy Corneluis and her husband used to own them.. havent seen or heard anything about them in a long time.. i used to buy there irons and woods for rental sets years ago... They used to make really good drivers at one time, not sure about now.

They do make very good equipment now.

I use their driver and 3-wood. Great sticks at a great price.

They offer many custom options as well.

They were the first set that I every owned. At first, they were exact copies of Ping Eye 2's. Then Ping told them to stop, and they changed their design a bit. I got my irons right after the change from the original clubs. Their woods were quite good and were based off of the Taylor Made Burner series from the 80's. They were very solid clubs and I actually placed 11th in the 4A State Championship in AZ while playing this set. I haven't heard much from them, but I just looked at their website and found the new clubs interesting. They were great when I began playing golf, and could shoot par with these clubs. I even won the Junior Club Championship at the course I grew up playing on in Phoenix, AZ.
