Wondering if I could get some help with swing

I have made major improvements on my swing in the past year and feel like I have made great strides. I still have a ways to go and was wondering if I could get some help.

What club are you hitting? It appears to have considerable loft, is it a wedge? A few thoughts, you mentioned "lifting" in YouTube. The term is often associated with a terrible misconception concerning impact with a golf iron. "Lifting" implies an attempt to try and get "under the ball" as if the iron were a scoop per se. The fact is the golf club is designed to get the ball airborne all be itself with no lifting to be done by the golfer. To hit irons consistent you must strike the ball as the club is still in it's [i]descent[/i] there is no lifting in this concept. It is why all good ball striker's take a divot. Here's how it goes, club travels down line, makes contact with the back of the ball [i]and [/i]continues yet down slightly following this impact peeling off the divot where the club [i]actually [/i]begins it's upswing leading to follow through AFTER impact...no lifting in this thought whatsoever. Ok, your swing a couple things, 1) you appear to "squareing" the face at address, this is not a proper address with a club, the face actually lies open naturally and properly, when you square it as it appears you do you are de-lofting the club and will, with a good golf swing, result in [i]hooding [/i]the shot pulling left. Let the club lay natural, let me know if you understand this. 2) if you are hitting [i]any [/i]lofted club 7 iron and down, you ought to begin openning your stance slightly to significantly when you get down to wedges, as you do this openning of your stance you also want to incrimentally 3) reduce your backswing. Trust me, you do not want a full backswing with these clubs. You could take a sand wedge back to just the 9 o'clock position with your arms and hit the same distance, you do not need strong body turn with these shots, so in essense, shorten your backswing a little more as you move down in distance. You have a very nice tempo and follow through. All you are doing with what I stated is what I'd call "tweeking". Good luck, I hope this helps!
