Anyone have white putter grips? Does it look bad after a while?

I'm not sure how the Scotty grip holds up but here is what I do know. My Iomic Midsize has held up great for 8 months now and doesn't get dirty at all. I simply wipe it town with a damp towel once or twice a round and it still feels and looks new. Also I wouldn't go spending $80 plus for a putter grip that has the Scotty name on it. Also I beleive that grip is a Winn grip and I personally can not stand Winn grips.

I have a white Iomic on one of my putters we well. As robbo said, wipe it down with a damp cloth and it's like new again.

Also using a white Iomic grip. Been on there for about a year and looks about 90% white still and I don't do much to it to clean it. Every now and then hit it with some soap/water when cleaning my clubs.

I bought a black one for that reason, I didn't want to waste money on something that would look bad after using it for a while.

Anyone tried a white grip other than the iomics? I'm wondering the same thing as the OP.

These winn grips do get dirty pretty quick. I had a winn grip on my rife that had less white on it than this one and it got pretty dirty. The iomics hold up a lot better.

You can get these scotty grips through the custom shop for $37. You do have to send your putter in but $80 is crazy for a white grip.

Golf Pride and Lamkin now have white grips out. Anyone try them? Any thoughts for keeping clean?

That price is rediculous. I have a white gripmaster for almost a year and it's still money. It's a little dirty but it still looks good. Anything golf club wise that is white is going to get dirty.

I saw the new white GolfPride ones in GolfGalaxy the other day. I was thinking about trying them on my irons, but I am still not convinced quite yet. After washing them after every time you play, they're eventually going to get old and start ripping and tearing a lot earlier and quicker.

I have one of the new white Lamkins and it get's pretty dirty and marked up. It's made out of the 3Gen material and I don't know what it is about that stuff but it seems to attract a lot of black marks that don't really wash off very well. Love the feel and the shape but if you like your grips nice and clean these ain't the grips for you. I have one of the new Golf Prides on order, haven't gotten it yet to review though. I play the white golf pride wraps and they don't seem to get dirty at all so if the putter grip is made of the same material they may have a winner.

I have a white Iomic putter grip on my Scotty, and it's been on the stick for just over a year. It looks brand new, as if I put in the grip yesterday. I'm going to replace the grip, but not because the grip looks terrible or feels terrible anymore; in fact, I could still use it for another year I bet. I'm going to replace it since I feel the need to do so after a year, just a thing I feel I need to do each year, get a new grip on the flat stick
