I bid on two things from a seller (in Baton Rouge so you know I'm wary about the Jason Smith connection). I won the small item ($10, so no biggie but I'm paying $35 to ship overseas). I didn't win the other item. I did ask the seller though if he had a few things I was looking for since Western Union charges are the same up to a certain amount. He had a wedge (not listed on ebay) that I am interested in. I received a notification from ebay that the other item I hadn't won but bid on has been removed from listing because of a Ebay policy violation.

I want the wedge and the putter should I push through with the deal?

The guy has 608 positive and 4 negative. The negatives have been six months or older, so there is nothing in his history to indicate scam. I'm scared if I don't push through I might get a negative. I'm doing western Union so this is all trust on my part.

The seller is lashlareaux. I hope somebody on this board has feedback on him.

NEVER pay with Western Union. It is almost always associated with Ebay scams...

It is the only way I can pay. We don't have Paypal offered over here. I use US buddies paypal for big $$$ items, but for stuff $150 or less I go Western Union.

I got new info from a different source. Apparently Ebay is cracking down on listings that use the word "Napa" but aren't actually SC Napa's.

I don't like it one bit. I wouldn't do it. I recognize that seller name for some reason...with ebay if you have even one inkling of a doubt, it's best to walk away.

Yeah ebay is really cracking down on "Spamming" in listing titles. I had a listing removed because of it.
