Mizuno MP-60s

Iron Queries

Hey Folks,

I'm new to this site so hello to all, some of you may know me from another golf site which in my opinion has gone downhill lately. Anyhow, at the momeent I am playing Mizuno MP 30 irons and I'm looking for something with a little bit more forgiveness but trying to keep the same wonderful feel. My question is doesanybody know if the MP 60s are any more forgiving than my current set or does anybody have any idea of any other irons I should demo?

i have not played the MP-30's but the MP-60's are the replacement for the MP-30's so i would imagine that they have a similar feel, but include the newer cut muscle technology.

I think they are more forgiving and they also hit alot higher. Great feel. If I were still playing twice a week they would still be in my bag.

I haven't played the MP-30s, but I went from TA5s to MP-60s with no problem. I think they are plenty forgiving for a "player's" cavityback.

I am one who thought the '30s were never that forgiving. I played Cleveland 588s and the '30s were less forgiving. Good solid club but I never thought they fit into the game improvement category.

The '60s are everything that the '30s weren't ...

I had the MP-30's for roughly 2.5 years, loved them, but not very forgiving at all, and a lower trajectory. I have recently been trying out the MP-60's. The 60's are for sure more forgiving than the 30's. The trajectory is also higher in comparison. The MP-60 trajectory for me climbs, climbs, climbs, then comes down right on top of it's target. And of course, they maintain that Mizuno feel.

Are there more forgiving clubs out there, for sure, but these are more forgiving than the MP-30, and have plenty of forgivness for someone who is a decent golfer.
