Help a high school golfer

clubs were stolen

A good friend of mine has been helping a ninth grader this year with his game, he's hoping to make the golf team next year. He's a great kid and has some game. Unfortunately on the weekend someone stole his Mom's car that had his clubs in the trunk, the poor kid was beside himself. His Mom is a single Mom and can't afford to get him anything. She would have to put through a tenant's insurance claim, but with the deductible they wouldn't get anything.

I've got a driver, wedges, and iron shafts and grips for him, my buddy has a 3 wood, hybrid and putter, but we need some iron heads. We've been asking everywhere locally but no one has any extras and we don't have the extra cash. Seeing as its fall and the golf season is all but over here in Canada its no rush as we've got all winter to find him some, we're planning on taking him to the golf dome every weekend to keep him in shape.

If anyone has some old heads lying around, something in a players CB would be ideal as thats what he had, but hey beggar's can't be choosers, he's be happy with anything. It would really brighten this kid's outlook for next season if anyone can come up with something. Thanks is advance.
