Picked up a couple more bombers of 2013 Killer Penguin Barley wine, Really solid buy for $8 definitely can hang with the more expensive $15 bottles. Also grabbed a 4 pack of North Coast 2015 Old Stock Ale seriously underrated inexpensive strong beer and one that ages very very good

Had the GF Sculpin tonight and loved it. Now I know what the fuss is about.

 

However, all those bottles of BC pictured above made me a little jealous and killed the buzz a little... :D

Currently debating on what to do if the Warriors win tonight. For the Giants World Series I had a special bottle of SF Giants labeled Mumm champagne, not sure If I should crack open one of my Firestones or just drink my last Backwoods bastxxx.

Btw backwoods is so much better fresh that bottle was about 8 months old aged cold and almost disappointing to drink because I have such good memories of that beer

If I had one I would have I've been hoping to see a keg tapped somewhere on tap hunter but nothing yet. I was able to get somewhat of a reliable confirmation AZ got about 600 bottles for our share of distribution still not sure how that happened.

I had 14 and 15 next to each other last weekend. My recommendation is to wait a year for that 15! '14 blew it out of the water. 2 totally different beers.

Based on the one I had last night yeah. I might have caught it at a weird stage and who knows maybe it's better with a full year or more age on it but fresh was definitely better. Plus only 4-5 months until it's back
