It was actually a brown paper ticket release. I scored 4 bottles and have a friend that was willing to proxy for me. Looking forward to those!

I have a sans Paigre coming. Really looking forward to that one. Tart of darkness is amazing.

 

I'm soloing this one tonight while watch f the HR derby for day 10 of 12 of my 12 days of summer. My liver needs a break!

In Richmond for business and went to Mekong last night. Had some awesome beers from Maine Beer Co which I haven't seen anywhere else around here. I has "Another One" which is a fantastic DIPA and Peeper which is a Pale Ale I really enjoyed.

Polished off the meal with a coffee coconut porter from The Answer which is the attached brewpub. These guys know beer. I will be heading back to the brewpub this week.

If you're ever in Richmond I cannot recommend this place enough. Besides the world class beer list the food was awesome as well.

We get Maine beer her in Chicago. It's real good. Lunch IPA is world class.

Thanks for the earlier recommendation on oskar blues ten fidy. It's a very solid imperial stout and the fact it comes in cans makes it even better since I can smuggle it onto the course! Btw I made birdie on the first hole I cracked it on...I think that's a sign right?

Booked a Goose Island Beer dinner for next Thursday at one of my local stops, They will have a bunch of BCBS BCBCS and BCBBW for sale, very limited number of Vanilla bombers I think only 6 of those. Ill be happy with a 4 pack of BCBS and BCBBW. Ill have a decent stock heading into fall and the 2015 release. Combine this with my Socal run coming up and I will be very very happy with my "cellar"

I've had lunch, dinner, moe, mean old Tom and pepper. All are ridiculous. Going back up to Maine this fall. Going back to allagash and going to Maine beer co. Should be fun.

I don't always have fruit in my beer, but when I do, it's raspberry....

 

 

Had a bottle of Blushing Monk. I enjoyed a lot better than the Rubaeus I tried some time back. Rubaeus was much sweeter, more syrupy. Blushing Monk was lighter, crisper, with more bite, but still very rich with raspberry.

Allagash was on draft everywhere in Richmond. It's. It's not my favorite type of beer but it's still very good for the type.
