My club with new promo rates

This is a plug for my club.

The club recently updated its website, is adding Troon Golf as its management company, and began construction on a new pool area, patio, and other enhancements (funded by select members).

New rates for 2012 are particularly discounted if you are <40 years old, with no initiation fees.
21 to 30 = $3k annual dues
31 to 34 = $5k
35 to 40 = $5,750

There are other categories for >40, corporate, associate, pool only, etc.

I have been a member for 2 years, entering my 3rd. I couldn't be happier, and if you are thinking of joining a club, I don't think you can beat these prices. I won my flight in my club's championship and I can confidently say there is no better adult/recreational sport achievement or feeling.

I'd be happy to answer questions, PMs, or invite WRXers out who are seriously considering joining a club.

Just an update:

Greens open at the end of March (yay!).

The Club has brought on Troon to be its manager, which adds benefits such as Troon Prive/Advantage (play their other public/private courses).

We had a meeting this week to look at the renovations - clubhouse has been gutted but looks very promising. They also said a number of trees around the course were removed (I haven't seen). Other improvements include a new bathroom for the pool area, new patio, improvements to tee boxes.

Lastly, adding a "vertical family" benefit - if you sign up as a regular member (not me, I'm junior), your grandparents, parents, children, and grand children will also be granted membership. So, a big benefit if you have kids or parents who also live in the area.

The goal of the renovations / benefits is to attract more members as the club is coming up on 100 years (1913).

Now is a great time to check out the club if you were considering joining a club.
