X22 tour to Razr X tour

anyone make the switch?, was it worth it?

The 22 tour is the only club that really performs well for me. I have tried several other clubs and keep coming back to them. You are pobably saying to yourself, "if they work why are you looking to change??" Well, because I have a little problem called I always am looking for something new and better. Many people on here have the same affliction.

What I am looking for is just an honest comparison of 22 tour vs Razr X tour.

Here is what I can tell
1) Appearance - design. From address the look pretty close. It looks like the razr might have a litle longer profile in the high toe area. (comparing the 2 clubs from face view on callaway preowned website. The 22 tour has the notch weighting and the razr x has the weight low and back, more of a traditional cavity back.

The soles look toe be the same width where they interact with the turf, but the razr weight cartridge appears to make the sole appear wider overall (even though it is not in the dirt at impact).

Looks like the sole of the X22 tour might be a litle flatter from toe to heel, where as the sole of the Razr is slighly rounded.

2) Specs The Razr X are 1 degree stronger loft throughout the set than the 22 tour. The PW has 1* more bounce. There is also a 50* gap wedge that is not available in the 22 tours.

3) Grooves - the X22tour are old groove (even though they offer a X22Tour NG). The Razr are new groove.

From a spec and visual perspective this is all I can tell. But from a performance and feel standpoint does anyone have any info? Is one more forgiving than the other, feel better, fly higher/lower?

I have tour 22 saw a used set of razr tours tried them side. Y side on monitor , wanted to buy the razr, but they were honestly no improvement for me, the 22 tour are just solid

The generations are so close together very little difference. In our house hold we have Callaway X14 and X20 irons, have played both in the past. Hit them against X22 and no big difference. The Razr X Tours are a great club, spent time with them at a demo, def. short list for a players club with user friendly features. I say get them, not because they are that much better, but because you want them. Everybody wants the younger sister and now you can, guilt free with the blessing of WRX
