Tiger Woods 07 XBox 360

My nephew was playing Tiger Woods 07 the other day on his XBox 360. The graphics are very good, the options are very detailed, even the swings and facial features are real close. While the driver even looks like a SQ and the putter looks similar to his Titleist, I almost lost my dinner I was laughing so hard at the irons they had Tiger using. While they have the swoosh on them the heads are the size of those plastic kids starter clubs (for like 4 year olds). I couldn't believe they would spend that much time making everything look realistic, include every option under the sun (including determining your hairline) only to make the irons look like clown clubs. Wonder how that happens to a seemingly well detailed game. My nephew was getting irritated with my laughing at the "big" clubs. Any game players out there notice this?

Yes, I noticed. I am also having nightmares over Annika's eyes.

You talk about the detail they have about making what ever face/golfer you want. I laugh because I just watched my girlfriend take 45 mins to create her in the game, and she hates mondern day video games (post Frogger).

I think they did pretty well with the game, all in all.

The irons have been HUGE for years in the game. i have been playing since 2003 and every year the irons look like plastic clubs. I have no clue why!

Maybe because it's because I grew up around games like Excite Bike and Tecmo Bowl, but I NEVER imagined a video game could look as good as Tiger Woods 07, distorted iron heads and all! :drinks:

I agree, the irons all look nasty for some reason. Once I chose the Nike blades, it didn't look half as bad as the stock irons you get at the beginning.

As far as Annika's eyes, yes, she looks possessed. Wait till you play the old man in the Tiger Challenge. You will crack up just watching this guy.

I'll bet the irons are so big because they have to now put the OEm's logos on them. You think Nike lets them offer their clubs as an option/upgrade in the game and they won't get any advertising $$ out of it. Didn't think so. I'm surprised the Bloomin' Onion Airship isn't circling overhead.

For some reason the Nike Blades are OVERSIZE in the console builds (Xbox and Xbox 360), where as the PC build more accurately portrays the actual size. Something that annoys me about the 2007 version (and this is being extremely obsessive compulsive) is that the Grafalloy Bimatrix shaft appears to 'blend' together instead of being two seperate colours (i.e. materials).
