Outdoor w/trackman...

New to the DFW area and was looking for any recommendations for a good club fitting location..I want to be fitted outside with the use of a trackman..Was looking into Jim Mcleans facility..anyone used it. Thanks for the help..

I haven't been fitted at Jim McLean's, but I've visited the facility and got a tour - - very nice. Their big selling point was being one of 5 regional Titleist fitting centers, so they're big into Titleist. They can do outdoor fittings with Trackman, and I saw multiple fitting carts on my tour - - Titleist, Ping, Adams, Cobra, Cleveland - - but no Mizuno apparently.

Cool Clubs sounds nice too - - good recommendation from Bravo36 - - just a bit farther away from where I live.

I also talked to Fit2Score (Colleyville, by the airport) - - ask for Russ - - when I talked with him he was very helpful and we talked thru the fitting process in some detail. He also can do outdoor fittings with Trackman.

Good luck . . . . . I'm trying to pick a fitter as well, so maybe a few others will chime in.

If you like titleist or ping head to Jim Mcleans and get their TPI fitter Kyle Cronkite, AWESOME guy.....they have EVERY TITLEIST aftermarket shaft in at least two flexes, tipped and untipped....must have 200+ shafts and the trackman......if your not big into Titleist go to Sellinger's in Dallas and get fit by Frank....

Don't have any experience with cool clubs but they are also a solid outfit. I'd call and check what shafts they have though....as I wanted to get fit for a razr hawk last year and they only had 2 shaft options.....

Kyle and Frank I can vouch for both AWESOME.......extreme techies too....Frank is also a MASTER clubuilder, does alot of tour work including all Sadlowski's stuff

Try Dave Murray, Class A Club Builder, at DA's Spring Creek Golf Center on Spring Creek Pkwy in Plano. He uses their range to fit golfers with a Trackman. He has his own small building next to the Pro Shop where he crafts clubs. Many pro's in the area use him. "DA" is for D.A. Weibring. Good luck!

[size="3"]+1 on Cool Clubs!!! Jonathan is awesome to work with and they have tons of shafts and head combinations to try. Plus they use Trackman and have a outdoor range as well. It is so nice to able to actually see the ball flight outside. Cool Clubs will also build the clubs to your exact specs if you chose to use them for the build.[/size]
