Depends on how the 714 AP2s look. If I combo it will be cb 2-6/mb 6-7 ill have two 6 irons to decide between.

If I do go AP2 it will be the 714. I have tried 712 with c-tapers, s300 and Kbs tour and haven't liked a single one of them. They launched too high and spun too much for me and I don't like the turf interaction.

My Combo set w/ KBS Tour X launches super duper high.. I am thinking of going to x100.. Weird thing is I am about to go to a 12* driver Funny how things work

Actually I am happier than ever... maybe a 712U or X-utility to replace the 2 iron, but i love my current set-up.

Its the stupid USGA that is making me change.....

I loved the feel of the Tours, but they launched way too high

cmon, We ALL know we are ho's! sometimes we cant resist the temptation especially if we start hitting the clubs bad. lol At least Coy is, I just talked to him 3 weeks ago about how good the i20 blueboard was, and now this man is switching it all up! lol

I may take the KBS off your hands, and SS 1 or 2 times.

Forgot to mention i was on a foresight a few weeks ago and my spin was around 2400 with 10-11* launch! Love the flight....

I was on a Monitor and I was launching a 12* w/ X 12-13 with I think only 2300-2500 rpms.. And Michael, I was on # 10 today and carried the left bunker and had 55 yards out.. 310 yrds.. worth switching BOMBS BABY

Sections is only 2 weeks away... i hit it far enough as it is. I just need to stay consistent

Me either.... the one day i did i shot an easy 75... With a guy in my group stating how good i was playing on every hole. The next day i shot 85 because i putted terribly.

Dude it's always something different for me. I'll drive it good but hit my irons bad.. drive it bad and scramble for a decent score. I haven't found out how to put it all together, yet.

Decent round at the I Falls Invite yesterday. Shot 79, it was raining on and off for the first 6 or 7 holes and what's where all my high numbers came from. I had two doubles from 3 putting.

I absolutely love the 2 iron. I had 255 to lay up to a hazard and was expecting 240 out of it... Well I crushed it 250.... Into a slight breeze

Had a rough two days. Friday was just a bad short game and putting day and today was aweful weather. Hail, snow and 30mph steady winds. I'm surprised we even played.

In two days I had one birdie, 2 triples (one each day) and 3 doubles (two today).

5 wood in. Two iron out. Need the extra carry in the wet weather.

I got it late last year and I just love the compact footprint. I putt decent with it and haven't found anything I like more so it has stuck around. I did lengthen it to 36" and I feel a lot more comfortable standing over the ball now.

I might order a Golo 5 in the fall. We'll see how the fastback holds up.

LOVING the Circa 62... It's sooooo soft. The superstroke is money. My putting has improved a ton! But my irons have gone a little downhill

Made it to day two of sections as an individual, but I am going to have to play out of my mind to get to state (I'm 11 strokes off the lead going to need around 68) I know I can play that good if I have a good day all around, but I had 41 putts yesterday. 5 three putts. I just couldn't adjust to the fast greens and big breaks.

My plan for tomorrow is to go balls out and attack every pin I can. Some putts are bound to drop.

Well my last day at sections wasn't very good. I decided I am ordering 714 ap2 3-p and 50,54,58 vokeys in the fall. I might order a 5 wood too.

Story of my life....a few years ago I was a 8 handicap and was living off a 3 wood off the tee and couldn't make a 5 footer to save my life....now I'm hitting my driver 260 down the middle every time and draining more putts than I ever have....but my handicap is up to a shade over 9...?

I am VERY curious why you've settled on the 714 AP2's already. A few posts back you said the 712's launched too high no matter what shaft you tried, and your already planning on ordering the next gen before we've even seen it? You've got game, why not keep your options open with the 712/714 CBs, MP 64, Bridgestone J40, or even some Wilson FG Tours, or something in that category?

I made a little swing change and i dont hit down on the ball as much, and I figured I could use the extra forgiveness. And from the pictures i have seen... i like them. I'm going to demo the 712s with a few different shafts outside, next to my J33s. I'm still considering the 714cb/mb combo, but unless they make them a little softer feeling they are not on the Top of the list.

I'm going titleist because that is the best deal through the college I will be at.
