1600 TE vs. Pro1M

I had the 1600 TE and sold it thinking that the Pro1M would be brighter and faster...Faster it is, brighter it is not. The numbers and crosshairs are great but the background when searching for the pin and in general seems more dull than the previous model. Wishing now that I hadnt sold my 1600 TE. Anyone else experience this?

If the Pro1M is like the Z6 then you may be able to adjust the brightness? I know I can do that on my Z6.

The only adjustment is the brightness of the actual numbers not the total field of view.
