Please Can You Guys Help Me

I am looking for the ultimate in quality and distance at the same time.

 

I have tried Honma's and fall in and out of love (too light)!

 

I tried Epon 702 with crazy shafts from Tourspecgolf ,loved the shafts hated the offset.

 

I am a very overweight 50 year of with golfers and tennis elbow in both arms.

 

I am thinking of the Miura PP9003 (which look nice to me).

 

The others are the Titleist V3 irons,Mizuno's or the new PRGR irons.

 

I am looking for hybrids,3 wood and Driver as well.

 

I need help with distance as I cannot be quite so aggressive at the ball.

 

So what would you guys suggest.

I recently purchased the Miura 9003. I put a Nippon 750 shaft and absolutely love them. They have a graphite weave at the top and play light. I was using Honma's with a 4 star shaft but I too found them to light....at first I was concerned that I would lose some distance going from graphite to steel but not with the Miura's. This is primarily due to there stronger lofts. Aside from that, the irons are beautiful..extremely well balanced with a perfect weight experience throughout impact. I use OnOFF hybrid and three wood...I replaced the three wood shaft with a myizocki (spelling?)shaft....which is amazing...gave me an exta10-20 yds....driver is a yamahaead with a diamana shaft...I play to a 4.9 index.....I cannot imagine ever playing a different set of irons.

You did not say what driver you use.

Which one off hybrids do you have.

I am looking at the PrGr either the new 2012 or the egg model and maybe the 3wood.

I am not sure that Japanese drivers are any longer or better than the Taylormade's that we get over here.

I love honma but not all the gold.

I am scared of losing distance with the Miura's?

Are the lofts stronger on the Miura's than the Honma's

I hit a 6 iron around 150-160 yards.

Too much offset for me in the Ping K15 and G20.

Irons I play onoff forged with super peening blues and I love them. Have you looked at the new titleist vg3s? The have stronger lofts and I'm pretty sure with the right shafts, they would be some quality sticks. I prefer a thinner top line so they wouldn't be for me.

Driver, if youre looking at strictly jdm then either the ryoma d-1 or the romaro ray 460 would be quality choices. However, you will pay a pretty penny. US market wise, I personally don't think anything is longer than the ping i20. If you're looking at adjustable, then I really can't complain about the cobra amp. Highly underrated stick. Paired it with a fujikura motore f3 and ball flight is perfect with a lot of roll...and I mean a lot. To me its a better stick than the Nike vrs or razr fit.

Hybrids and woods...all I can say is royal collection. The jp104 is one of the longest 3 woods I have a had the pleasure to hit. Long, straight, hot hot face. For the hybrid, the jp104 fairway hybrid is excellent. Again, long and really easy to hit off any situation. You can find them without breaking the bank as well which is always a plus.

A friend of mine is playing the Miura PP9003 and really enjoys them, best of both worlds in distance, feel and forgiveness. He is playing Nippon shafts.

I am playing LH Miura CB and I am using Accra ([url="http://www.accragolf.com/golf-shafts/i-series-graphite/"]http://www.accragolf.com/golf-shafts/i-series-graphite/[/url]). Seventy gram in the 5-PW and the three wedges have the 80 gram. These shafts are fantastic..

I bought a set of Honma IS 2 irons and Driver,3 wood and 5 wood.
