Vintage Ping Putters Fit For a Straight Stroke

Hi all,

 

I've recently tossed around the idea of picking up an old PING putter or two and sending them off for refinishing, but given that my stroke only works with a model designed for a straight stroke, what are some of the older models that would work?

 

I know that the newer Anser 5 milled is face balanced, so it's possible that goosenecks aren't completely out of the question.

I believe almost anything with a "5" in it will be close to or completely face balanced. There were a lot of '5KS' models which have long necks or '5BZ' models that I think all had the shaft into head set up. I am pretty sure the Ping Faith mallet was also face balanced.

agree with Dagoose, look for a 5 in the model name
there was an anser 5, Pal 5, along with tons of others
