off e-Bay before I found this forum. I haven't received it yet it should be here tomorrow, did I get a good deal and is this real in you opinions.

Looks right to me. Add to that two things: it's priced reasonably but not ridiculously, and you have a seller with plenty of transactions and very good feedback. I think you're good to go.

Wasn't trying to offend anyone, sorry if I did Geoff I was merely going by post count and you seem to be as new of a member as I am. just wanted maybe a more professional opinion but yu guys have agood point about the pictures being just any picture. I guess I'll have to wait and see whent he putter gets here tomorrow.

So the putter came on sunday because of extended holiday shipping. Looks prety good............................. for a FAKE! At fist I thought it was the real thing, then I started to examine it a little more closely and tried to make some comparisons with clubs online. The first thing that set of an alarm was the quality of the head cover I swear this thing is made of baby naugahide or pleather at best. It just feels weird. Then I go to Yesgolf.ca and th putter they show has a sight dot, so does mine, but on yesgolf.com the putter has a sight line. I thought this was a bit weird but figured you can probably get them either way. So then I went to golf town to look at one that I know is the real deal. Talk about alarms going off, 1st my putter has an apollo shaft yet it was never reshafted according to the seller and came wrapped in plastic, 2nd my putter doesn't have the Yes! sticker around the shaft just under the grip, 3rd the grips look identical at first sight,but when examined more closely the grip itself was a Yes! knock-off as well. Where it says yes on the grip, it is textured like the real grip, its smooth but only surrounding the letters. on My putter there are rectangular smooth spots with yes printed on top. Just to be sure it wasn't a running change at the manufacturers level I went over to pro shop and asked for the new yes grip and low and behold they weren't like my grip. So I sent a pretty nast letter to newgolf222 the eBay seller and he says he going to refund me the entire amount plus shipping both ways. So thats cool and all but now I dont have the Yes! Sophia for my golf trip next month :fool: What I find most puzzling is how fast the guy was willing to fully refund me plus shipping both ways w/o nary a wimper or complaint but then he goes on to say that he doesn't sell fakes and not to contact ebay, paypal, Yes! Golf or the authorities and he'll take care of the problem of how htere must be some mix up between him and his supplier???

 

Well I guess you'll all say you that i 've shouldn;t buy off eBay but I'll tell you guys, I have over 1500 worth of clubs and paid at most 500 so, so far until now I've done well. But it was thanks to you guys and this website that I questioned the authenticity. Had I not joined up here I would have never have known that people were producing fake Yes! putters. Thanks everyone and if anyone know where I can get a good deal on the Yes! Spohia 35" RH model please let me know.

Oh eBay will definitely be hearing from me I just want to make sure I get my refund first. He has already sent it through paypal but its status is pending. As soon as it clears I'm going to report this guy to ebay paypal and Yes! I have all his info and plan on forwarding it to Yes! so they can take appropriate action. This whole situation just burns my a**.
