Fairway Wood Aerojet LS 3 wood vs stealth plus 3 wood

Hope all is well, my stealth plus 3 wood sounds hollow and very "empty". I have a stealth plus 5 wood and it sounds way better and solid. A few of my mates hit my stealth plus 3 wood and they all said it sounded broken. Considering the Aerojet LS 3 wood. Can anyone please give some insight on the Aerojet ls? Feel, performance and launch, please? I can launch the Stealth Plus 3 wood with no problem and carry it around 255 yards, SS 106 mph, I really enjoyed gaming the Stealth Plus 3 wood. Will continue to use a tour ad CQ 7x shaft. Thanks for your time, have a good day.

I would honestly save some cash and go with an ltdx, but that’s just me.  One of the best fairways I ever played.  
 

If your heart is set on AJ, then I say go for it.  Cobra makes incredible fairway woods.  It might sit a touch upright, as Cobra tends to do, but they are plenty hot off the face and easy to launch.  One of the better looking profiles as well.

 

I currently have a stealth+ 5W in the bag and it’s great, but no better than the Ltdx I had last season.

I can't find an LTDx at my local store, it's all gone... But they have an aerojet ls left! The standard Taylormade lie angle is 56 I believe, but the Aerojet ls is 55.7, do you think the performance will be similar? I read a few reviews and people said LTDx and Aerojet are just as good, so their performance should be similar too! Do you have the cobra LTDx lofted up 1 degree? Because its 56.3 when lofted up 1 degree. Thanks!

They have an ltdx ls just posted on the bst with an incredible shaft.  I would jump on it but I prefer the standard ltdx fairway heads.

 

I think they will be similar imho.  Cobra heads are a touch smaller profile.  Depends on what you prefer to look at down by the ball.

I know why you think cobra fairways sit upright!!! cobra made the Aerojet slightly flatter, I assume it should perform similarly to the stealth plus! most likely going to go with Aerojet LS then. The stealth plus 3 wood head is 175 cc and the Aerojet LS is 172 cc. Should launch nice and high with a little fade! Guys like Bob Mac and Zander Lombard who are both not cobra staffers have it in the bag. Jordan Smith had it in the bag at some point too so probably can't go wrong with it!

I think Cobra makes very underrated fairway woods.  I keep going back to them and have stayed with the LTDx LS.  The LDX model will be hard to find especially in good shape, so I would recommend the AJ over the TM.  This is just my preference to performance and feel.  I have hit the AJ and can't say it was a whole lot different than the LTDx.  Good Luck.

I have never tried a cobra fairway before, but since some non staffers have it in the bag it should be good! Hideki refuses to get rid of his cobra 5w and he's one of if not the best FW players on tour.
