triggs "membership"? any good?

Thoughts on this membership at triggs memorial in providence.

 

189$ gets you unlimited greens fees m-f anytime. Sat and Sunday after 11. But you HAVE to buy a Carr and lunch which is 23$ for 18 and 14$ for 9.

 

You can make tee times 3 days in advance. It's a public course but always voted in top 25 in New England

Is that for a "Fall to Spring" membership? I think Cranston CC is running something similar too this fall and you get money off next year's full membership price. The "membership" lasts until the end of April. There's is around $300 bucks though. If you can get out enough and the weather cooperates, it would be worth it. It would pay for itself in around 5 or 6 rounds.

Wow. That seems to be well worth it since greens fees are $42 bucks for 18. Even if you have to pay for the cart/lunch that's still like you're paying half price fees and you get the cart and lunch! The $189 would definitely be made back and then some over the course of the membership. I liked Triggs a lot when I played there last year. Not a bad place to call home for $189. If I lived around the city, I would very much consider that deal.
