Hello, all! Just happened upon Golfwrx as I was searching for info about Cobra's ZL Encore driver. Most of my searches lead me here, and I found the info, discussions, and advice to be quite helpful ... And addictive.

 

I'm a 55 y.o. high handicap, live in Alabama, and I play 3-4 times per week. I'll make useful contributions to the discussions when I can. Thanks for welcoming me to your community.

Lol. 300 yard drives? Me??? I can barely get my driver out 220, much less my 6.

If you "really" want to know what's in my bag, I'll tell you ... But only if you promise not to be too terribly bored. Lol

Btw, always been regular flex for me.

Boccieri B3-M Mallet Heavy Putter (put a Shorty 2Thumb grip on it).
Switch back and forth between my Ping Traverse bag and my Sun Mtn MCB (like them both and I'm trying to keep from wearing either one out prematurely ... but I've found the Traverse is great for both my Clicgear and a riding cart).
Been playing Bridgestone E-6's and Titleist NXT Tours but have recently been hitting Callaway Hex Chrome's.

I like to change my grips every 50 - 60 rounds ... for some reason I find the process of changing them to be soothing.
I use Sharpro Multi-Compound grips. I've tried Golf Pride's, but I find little diff between them and as often as I change grips, it's less expensive.
