Miura Raw shaft lengths

Does anyone off hand have the lengths for the shafts pre-cut and ready for install? For Miura Tournament Blades.

They are available with a multitude of shafts and all the shaft specs are available online.......Miura does not have specific shafts for it's clubs. Pick the shaft you like and look up the specs....it's that easy!!

Thats not what I meant, I already have CTapers in there but am putting in Pxi shafts and wanted to know the cut lengths for each shaft.

If you are going for the same finished length, then the cut length of the PXi's will be the same as what you have now. The way clubs are made is the shafts are installed then cut to playing length.....are you looking to "pre cut" all your PXi's then instal them??? Bad move!!

Im looking to cuto the shafts to the lengths they need to be. i.e, a 36.5" cut shaft will give me a 37.75 5 iron or whatever. nevermind

Bad idea....take them to a real club maker/fitter and get it done right.

I build all my own clubs. I don't need a club maker . I was just wondering if there was a set length to save me some time. I don't mind dry fitting them and getting the length. Just looking for shortcut, like all club makers ...I'm sure they have a "cheat sheet" for shaft lengths .

Sorry...No cheat sheets for iron shafts as you describe ....pre-cutting the shafts is NOT a shortcut it is just a way of doing the required steps in a different order.....and an order that could cause you problems. There is a reason that the shafts are cut after installation.

1-Prep heads
2-Prep shafts
3-Instal shafts with ferrules
4-Cut to playing length
5-Finish clubs and instal grips

All you are trying to do is change the order to 1,2,4,3,5.....if you cut one shaft a little too short/long or the hosel depth/penetration is not dead on in each head, you are back to doing step 4 again anyway.

I have been doing this for a living for 25 years and, believe me, there is a reason it is done this way

I'm thinking you are a bit misled as to the penchant of US club makers to cut their iron shots longer than Japanese on the common. I myself have called them Japanese standard but in truth no such thing exists. It's just a habit that developed because in the past, Japanese and pretty much most asians were generally a bit shorter. That is no longer the case, but the habit persists.

Considering that you are installing the shafts brand new, you are also confronted with the opportunity to fit the shaft length to the user in the most convenient manner. Shame to waste that opportunity.

Question. At which part of your build do you adjust for swing weight?

If the swing weights need to be set I do it after the clubs are cut to length and before the grips are installed. Dry fit with a split grip and then adjust swing weight with powdered lead and cork.
