Diamana83 In A R7 Tp Fw?

How will this combo play?

Guys,
Took the plunge and ordered a R5 TP 10.5 / Diamana.
I'm pulling the Diamana to leave room for a Speeder 652ex instead in the R5 TP driver.

So honestly - I'm not in love with the VP80 stock pick for my R7 TP 15* fw due to the lowish ballflight for me.
Will I gain a higher launch or a better flight with the Diamana83 stiff?
I need a qualified input BEFORE I cut the shaft to 3 wd length.
BTW, I hit the hDiamana stiff in my Rescue Dual TP very very well and I like the high flight.
What do You think? Joey?

My profile in short:
hcp 8, 6 ft 3" and more of a swinger of the club.
My SS is around 100 w. driver and a 1.2 sec tempo.
I'm not rushing the transition at the top when I'm swinging well.

Can't give you any input on the shaft in the r7 FW. But isn't the Diamana 83 a mid-high kick shaft too? I did not try the 83 in my r7 FW as I got my r7 FW with Vista Pro 70 and I like it. It's such a low launch head that I don't need a high kick shaft to play to what I like. (This is from a high ball hitter.)

I did exactly the same you are trying to do. I have an R7 TP 17.5 Fw, that I had the Fujukura removed and put the Diamana 83 stiff, with a 3/4 inch tip, and cut it to length (std length). First thing I noticed is that the trajectory is a bit more boring, yet flat, even with a 17.5 degree. The ball gets up in the air with much more ease, and I don't have to feel like I am forcing the Fujikura to do it job, I can swing freely, and the results are amazing. The Diamana is few grams lighter, which means a bit faster swing speed, I gained around 3-5 mph, overall distance, about the same.

I wanted to make this switch, since I play an R7 TP with the Diamana 73 stiff, so the feel is really consistent among those 2 clubs. THe next in line is an R7 TP FW 13 degree, that is going to get the Diamana 83 stiff treatment.
