How are the irons treating you? Also, did you get the Deep yet?

They are really great!! I've also been working on quite a swing change, so my game requires some effort these days. But I'm slowly progressing. I absolutely love the APs, what a great iron. Haven't hit the 2Deep yet because delivery is due next week. Best club I've hit recently is the 18 pro hybrid, this thing is easy, long and really workable from about every kind of lie. It's a 235-245 carry club!

Love the bag. Thinking of switching to a combo set myself this summer. Last summer I was right on the edge ball-striking wise of being able to consistently play forged, but I am going to a demo day in a month that I think will help decide.

Just a preview for you - I hit the 2Deep with a stock shaft yesterday...club is AWESOME. I have the 3Deep already, and this club was longer and straighter. You're going to love it, especially if you like the pro hybrid. Think lower spin bullets [size=4] [/size] [size=4] [/size][size=4] [/size]

Thanks! For your consideration, my fitter suggested to skip the combo setup (and the trouble of loft matching) and go either straight apex or pro. The pro 4-5 are not more difficult to hit compared to my previous razr x tours, the tungsten really helps.

I expect the 2 Deep to be a game changer for me. I almost bought a 13 3W last year. Luckily Callaway stepped to the plate and released this monster. Going #driverless is probably my 2014 theme...

Finally completed my Masters head cover setup today. Actually tried to purchase a blade/mallet (to choose later), but since they didn't ship to Europe I had to the lean on a fellow WRX'er to help me. In those few minutes, the blades were sold out. I'm still figuring out to play blade/mallet, maybe this purchase will help. But I'm not sure if I will game it.

Yes, this is the setup for the time being. Hitting driver is my achilles heel in golf. I hit 3W almost from every tee (except par 3's) and 1 or 2 drivers. I'm pretty long from the tee with my 3W (around 260-270) and am looking for a little extra length on par 5's with the control of a small wood. I'll keep the 3W for hitting from the deck.

The 18H is one of the best clubs I've hit recently, super easy to hit, to move left/tight/up/down and great from the deck. Oh.. and it's stupid long.

That 2 Deep looks great, I was looking at the 5 deep since I love hitting 5 wood off the tee. I may end up getting one and putting the AD DI in it since it has performed well for me in my X2HP 3 and 5 woods.

Latest addition! 1 of 5 mallet Odyssey masters 2014 head cover. Freakin nice and very special. For now it'll hug my versa 2 ball, but I'll be on the lookout for a nice deal on a MXM (V) #7.

The H2No arrived yesterday, what a great!! looking. I got tired carrying my cart bag on occasions so I got this one. I'll probably will be walking a lot more. What do you guys think of the color scheme? Also looks pretty good with black/orange x2hot head covers.

Time for a small update. The H2NO is just simply a perfect bag. I've never walked before and started a few weeks ago. I love the speed and agility you have on the course. The sun mountain looks are just great.

 

The top end of my bag is not settled in for the time being. After blind purchasing (I like to test thoroughly, not in a shop) the 2Deep I've decided to put it up for sale. The plan was to kick out my driver and the 2 Deep /3W at the top of my bag. I just couldn't get a long with the 2W and it's up for sale now locally (PM if interested). Partially due to the stiff shaft and the weight, but I also didn't gain much distance compared to my 3W. My current 3W is crazy long, and almost unbeatable. The 2 Deep is up for sale. In the meantime I've purchased a optiforce 440 head on the bay and a new tip. Not that my RFE is bad, just a fun new project to try. I'll install the tip either on my current speeder 6.2 X or tip my diamana s+ stiff another inch for it to play at 44. How stiff would you guys think it'll play then?

 

The lower end of the bag is very stable in the mean time. I've a masters 2014 mallet cover recently because I was planning to switch to a #7. The current short stick is treating me very good and will stay in the bag for a time. So I'm looking for a nice trade/sell for a limited blade cover, hopefully a masters 2014 ;)

So the 440 head turned up today, pretty cool deal at 76$, what a great looking thing it is. The plan is to adjust my current diamana S+ stiff playing at 45.25 to 44.25 by tipping an inch and fit the proper the proper adapter (en route). I managed to pull my first adapter by using hot water and a very small candle in stead of a torch. DIY-fun all around. Saved everything except the ferrule.

Damn I want those 2013 Callaway Masters Head Covers I have only this one on the way and it's a 2014 Callaway Masters Head Cover...........Love your setup Man.......if you ever want to get rid of those Head Covers you know where you can sell them.

The 440 wasn't a huge success until today. I've paired it with a diamana 62 S+ playing at around 44.5 but it was really light. I was all over the place on every swing plane you can think of . So on to the next step and got a cheap x2hot pro 8.5 head and paired with a diamana 72. The 440 was 10gr lighter than the x2hot and there's 10 grams weight difference in the shafts as well. Next time on the range i'll do a shoot out and find out which of 4 combinations fits my swing the best. My guess the x2hot with the diamana 72 will come out on top.

It was pretty crappy indeed. This wasn't a good penalty game by us, both on taking and stopping. Should have been more carefull with the opportunities in regualr time. Good thing is I can catch up on some sleep now

No doubt! I've been bouncing back and forth between the OF 440 and the RFE heads. Love both.
Just picked up a mint OF 460 head for a great price to try. Also have to say, lovin' the OF 3 wood so far.
