Myrtle Beach Weather - Last Week of September

What should I expect for weather the last week of September in the Myrtle Beach area?

 

I'll be playing, Caledonia, True Blue, Pawley's Plantation, TPC, & Heritage.

That's during hurricane season so there's like a 1-in-20 or whatever chance of a hurricane or tropical storm affecting weather while you're there.

But otherwise the best golf weather of the year is from late September through the middle of November. It will be a bit dryer than during the summer, maybe a bit windier as well. Temps are often in the 80's but 80's and moderate humidity beats the 90's and high humidity you'd have a few weeks earlier. Very unlikely to have any frost delays along the coast that early in the year (which can be a problem once you get a few weeks later).

So figure crisp but not cold mornings, warm to slightly hot afternoons with moderate humidity, likely a pretty fair breeze most days and about as little chance of rain as any time during the year (although there's always some chance of rain on the SC coast).

Still will be warm and muggy. Maybe hot and muggy.

Beautiful. Not to hot. It should be absolutely amazing. I played True Blue yesterday, I have lived in the area for 14 years. The course was in unbelievable shape. I have heard from some other locals, that it might be the best shape it has ever been in. Played Pawleys about a month ago and it was in great shape as well. You will not be disappointed.

Nice Lineup! You will get warm conditions with a possible Hurricane, that is peak part of season. If no hurricane you will love the weather.

I have played all but Pawley's, i can say that you will not be disappointed with the course you picked.

I'm there every year at the same time man so I have some experience. Everything as mentioned above and its a great time to be there. I think I've got Pine Lakes, Grande Dunes, Kings North, and our normal little practice round at River Oaks.

That course line up looks legit! have fun and play well

Played them all over the years and loved all of them besides Pawley's. If u like to practice between rounds TPC has a great range Make sure you hit Lee's Inlet kitchen in Murrells Inlet, after a round For some great seafood. That is a top notch package and a great time to be in MB. Been going in september for past 15 years and only had to leave due to hurricane one time. We got our refund, rented two cargo vans and hit Nashville after evacuating. Which was a great emergency back up for golf, and other tomfoolery.
