New bag for 07

I saw that HC......Didn't like it. I just looks cheap to me

That headcover does look cheap. Got to get one made out of the ACU material. The only problem that I would have, would be guys buying the bag that don't have a tie to the military. Almost similar to people wearing BDU's or ACU's out in public and selling them in malls. I personally feel after wearing the uniform for the past 11 years and having 5 deployments since Jun '04, I think it is shameful that it has turned into a fashion trend. So be it though, I go on about my day. I just don't want to see people buying the bag because they think it looks cool. It would be similar to me buying a new Taylor Made R7 staff bag and then not having one Taylor Made club in the bag. I guess I have a character flaw though, but this is my $.02.

I just bought this Ping bag today at the PGA Tour Superstore, I'd say they had at least a dozen or so. They sell for 169.99, same price as the regular (non camo) version. I also believe they had a sign up saying that some of the proceeds (a rebate of sorts) is going to one of the military charities.

I was actually there getting my Pop a headcover when I walked by these - the pics don't do it justice. The embroidered flag is the best part!

Was that Martin's PGA superstore?

I believe that was the original name. I live in Atlanta, so we've only known them as the PGA Tour Superstore, but I think they did start in Myrtle Beach by replacing the Martin's stores.

I just feel like the vantage is a step down from the old hoofers. I LOVE my extreme, and it would be sick in camo...plus it goes to a good cause. win/win

I just got done walking 9 and the bag feels nice and lite once you get the straps adjusted right.

It seems like these are being made as a "limited run", a late addtion to the 2007 Ping Vantage bag line up. Have your golf shop/pro get a hold of their Ping rep and order one, once they are gone, they will be GONE.
