I certainly would agree with that.

 

I guess what I mean is that Johnny Millers comment is to everyone.. it's almost become PC to use Phil as and example (usually bad examples), so he chose too. If he had used Tiger..well that would not be smart, he might get ignored for a future interview or post round commentary.

how much of Tiger's money is he tiger using for his charitable foundation?

 

i dont know about being just a side note.... but i do notice a lot of tiger lovers in here bound and determined to discredit phil's every move.

The worst thing that can happen to Johnny Miller is that no one pays attention to him.If that happened NBC and other golf media would not pay him money.It's that simple.He is trying to get attention.You parents out there know what I mean.

Is it right? Only if we keep listening to him.

And there is nothing wrong with liking both Phil and Tiger.I love to watch both play and don't see it as a either/or thing.I am a huge fan of them both.

I agree with the point about liking both Phil and Tiger. The best thing that could happen to the game would be for Phil to realize his potential and start challenging Tiger directly in the majors. It would bring out the best in Tiger as well, and it would be awesome to see.

 

I am rooting hard for Phil to put Winged Foot behind him and get on with the business of winning majors. I am also rooting for Tiger to keep on keeping on, and for the two of them to battle it out over the next 10 or so years. And in my fantasy world, Ernie, Retief and Vijay would all be in the mix too, while Sergio misses every putt that matters whenever he gets into contention in any tournament worth paying attention to (sorry, only so much "Kumbaya" to go around, I guess).

Phil does seem to be an easy target for most people. I love to watch Phil play and I think he is GREAT for golf. I do think he has a hard time expressing disappointment as his grin does look fake when this happens, but he does seem to have a good time out there.

Without people like Phil taking the limelight, this would be the TPGA (Tiger's PGA) and while Tiger is my one of my favorite, we need competition in the field.
