He's using the Callaway XR16 head with House of Forged shaft. I don't know the flex - probably 3 or 4x. It is either a NINJA or Code Blue shaft. Both are extremely light but relatively stable. I hit the code blue myself. Love it but still wish they had the 59!

Here's a thought - I'm hoping people will chime in...

Would it be beneficial for him to use his gamer all the time? His SS is already above most everyone's! He could hit the grid more and thus have more chances at a good roll out, not to mention that he'd hit the center of the face more! I know he is already a great ball striker but shorter is still easier to contact in the center.

I understand LD is about that 1 long ball. But so many missed the grid altogether or the one or two that happened to hit would have tooo much spin/lower Smash Factor, etc...

Keep in mind, I'm only applying this to him and maybe anyone else that is above the rest at 150mph SS. Let me hear it!

The shaft was a house of forced proto type , most likely ninja weight and tip stiff like a platinum 275ish cpm or higher ,,,I don't think he hit the shorter shaft even though they mentioned that,,with the top say 16 guys all going over 400 , don't think you can play safe any more only if they went OB 8 and you have 4 left ,,

That's cool he was hitting a prototype! Can't wait to learn more about it if they release it. I love their stuff!

I know this is reaching, but it looked shorter as well... maybe my mind playing tricks after they said it. haha. IF it was gamer length though, I'd go with that every time. 149mph with a shorter, more accurate club. People with that speed only lose if they miss the grid or miss hit! My point is to get more in the grid and have more chances to get a hot run out....also less chance of never hitting the grid altogether. He's not giving much speed back to the field if he is still swinging at 149mph. Just curious!!

with a 8 ball format and knowing that 400 isn't going to cut it don't think any of these guys are playing it safe,,,also the data could be off a bit depending on how there trac man set was configured ...

He used the Ninja, straight from Robert Kent at HOF, most others used the Code Blue.

Awesome! Thank you! I've heard a lot of good about the Ninja! Any knowledge on whether or not he actually used a "gamer" for his final drive?

I'll try to find out the setup he used.

Agreed, even my wife who could care less made the same comment on him being a D bag

I'd like to know what Sandra Carlborgs set up was. Her swing and ball speed is more like mine. Seems any LD I've put together never works out.

Looks like she used the Fuji pro xlr8 shaft, non speeder. Would love to know the length, since it's not made in LD version did she just play it full length? Tipping? Flex? Also, to a lesser concern, what loft was she using.
