It depends how you react to this profile. One persons feel and flight may not translate to how it performs for you specifically, so just keep that in mind.

To ME, the non-pro version is a total noodle. Very smooth, but fairly active feeling shaft and easily over powered. The PRO version though is a very different story. Built for faster speeds and more aggressive swings. Still retains smoothness but much more stable feeling. I had a 60TX tipped an inch in the driver and it was as stable as anything I've ever used.

No idea, never hit with the Alta. I think the Alta is CB'ed though because it's a stock shaft on the G400, which is a heavier than usual head. As far as I know Tensei Blue isn't counter balanced.

I'm under the impression that the Tensei Blue is counterbalanced.

I have both shafts for the G400 driver. Played them in a G400 Max. I personally felt that the Alta CB was a noodle and the Tensei was more solid. Both were high launch for me but the Tensei gave more feedback.

As far as flight, I hit high draws and hit one of my longest with the Tensei Blue at 291 yes. Alta CB always gave a tall flight that would stop where it dropped.

This is on MCA's website aobut the Orange shaft -

Unlike other shafts TENSEI™ CK Series family, TENSEI™ CK Orange has a unique counter balanced design for player’s looking to fine-tune their golf club performance.

I interpret that to mean that none of the other shafts in the Tensei family are CB'ed.

I had the pro orange, pro blue and currently game the pro white. The blue, even in 60tx tipped an inch has a pronounced kick feel to it. The shaft feels great, but the blue I did not like simply because of the feel. If you have hit blue boards in the past, it’s similar but more smooth feeling, if that makes sense

I had the Tensei Blue 60 Stiff for my Epic SZ was dull feeling shaft, not bad but just a weird feeling. Have them in the Steelhead XR both my 3w and 5w, and they are absolutely great shafts.

As far as the Alta shaft, love the feel, hate the trajectory in my 400 Max 9*. If no wind or down wind it would be fine. Totally different than the Tensei Blue driver shaft though in a better way at least in feel.
