He was using an FGP, non milled model, at the Nedbank. I believe he is still using that same putter. Lot of the tour guys love the FGP Black model!

The light weight of the FGP may agree with the greens and their stroke.

He lead taped it up on the sole. So it's playing a little heavier. But still, those pros prefer the lighter headweights most of the time.

    Ah, thanks.

Then why not the mFGP? I'd ask -- only 10g heavier.

Some of the guys perfer an aluminum putter vs a steel one I personally like the milled version much better but I guess what ever works for you is all that matters.I just like a heavier head weight

The mFGP is milled from 303, the FGP is cast from Bronze. It's a completely different feel. The ball jumps off the face much quicker with the standard FGP. Which is why the pros prefer it. Good feedback, especially for a cast club.

I like the standard FGP -- but prefer the feel of the mGFP. I can see the ball coming off the face quicker, for some reason, working well on short putts with that putter.
